Public Relations / PA to the Program Manager

Emma is an Italian-South African who has spent most of her life in New Zealand.

Her adventures have included leading a student choir, teaching Bible in Schools and road-tripping a puppet ministry across Aotearoa with her parents and siblings for outreach and training.

Emma was introduced to Mission Aviation Fellowship by a pilot friend in 2007. She started as a part-time Admin Assistant and went on to manage the MAF NZ office and fulfill the role of Communications & Publications.

In February 2015, Emma moved to Papua New Guinea to serve at the MAF base in Mt Hagen. Her role includes Public Relations, improving and maintaining MAF’s public image, as well as MAF’s internal vision and drive. She also acts as a PA to the PNG Program Manager, and uses her publishing and communication skills to assist the Comms team and help manage media communication for MAF PNG.

Emma has always been open to life’s adventures and the many ways and places in which God works. She takes on the challenge of finding ways to combine the skills He has given her with the need she sees around her, and she seeks to be a blessing and to learn and grow during this season of serving with MAF in Papua New Guinea.

“Christ’s love compels us…God, who reconciled us to Himself in Christ…has given us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, since God is making His appeal through us.” 2 Cor 5:14, 18-20.
